At this year's annual Christmas sale, the Ann Arbor Potters Guild will be displaying more than its ceramics. The Guild will be showing off a newly completed facade, as well as an enlarged studio space, during the Dec. 8 sale, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The new facade is a memorial to the late Laura Vaughn, a long-time Guild member. It was financed through contributions.

The Potters Guild is a cooperative ceramic workshop and school owned and operated by its members. Located at 201 Hill St., it is in its 25th year of operation. It has a membership of 40, with 28 students enrolled in classes.

The sale will feature various ceramic forms including mugs, hanging planters, casseroles, teapots, lanterns, bells, mirrors, soap dishes, recipe plaques and Christmas ornaments.
