A letter from Damasous, Pa., to the New York World saya: Three young mcn from New York- Henry Martin, Louis Farez and William Hendriek - who carne here a lew iliys ago on a huntin expedition, have just met with a thriliing experience. Tliey brouht with tliem from the city a tent and camping iitensüs, and made their camp in the Little York woods, some miles from this town, and about three miles from any house. The night air bemg ookl, they built a lire before retiring. In the middle of the nigbt Hendrick was awakened by a stntue n ise outside the tent. A larjre i-ieoe of the lesh surrounding the wound had to be ut out by his companious, and this saved his íife. The young men killed hirty-one snakes which measured one luinired and twenty-tive feet.
