S.Nowland was eleeted marshal, ?red Schmid of Mack & Schmid, superntendent, with power to appoint assisahts. C. S. Gregory, 8. W. Dorr and E. B. 5cott, we.e appointed delegates to altend he state couuty fair association to be íeld at Paw Paw Feb. 7. A business committee was appointed :onsistiug of J. B. Gott, II. Hutztl, C. L. fuomey, E. The following resolution was also idopled: lienolved, By the board of managers of ,he Washtenaw county agricultuial and uorticullural society that the president, recording secrelary and treasurer be initructed f petitiou the governor to recjmmend the legislature to pass at the extra sessiou soon to be called, an act to authonze ïaid society to borrow irjoney and txtcute a morlgage on its lands for the purpose of paying the indebteduess of said society ; also to authorize the said soi iuty to sell its real estáte and .invest the proceeds. in other fair grouuds when tletermiued by a vote of two thirds of the members present and voticg at an annual lueeliue;. The executive committee was requested to present ñames for viewing coramitkes, when the boari adjourned sine die.
