The boatt of county cxaininers of chools, adopted the following resolutions on the death of Zelotes Truesdel: Whekeas, It has pleased Alwighty God by an inscrutibleProvidence to remove by death our belo?ed and respected secretary, Zelotes Truesdel. Resolved, That while we bow in humble submission to the Divine will, we 2an not but deplore and deeply feel the loss he country lias sustained in his death, combining as he did the qualities of mind and heart that endeared iiim to all with wLom he caine ia contact and en abled niin to become, as he was, a man of unusual ability and high moral eharacter, a successful organizer and diciplinariati possessing that tact, sound coinmon sense, executive capacity, energy and culture Uiat placed hun in the frout ranks of the educatois of our county aud state. Resolved, That we hereby express to Mrs. Truesdel and her daughter our heartfelt sympathy, and condole with them over their irreparable loss, trusting that an all wise Frovidence ma}' support thcm in their bereavement.
