The freshman class exercises at the St James hotel Friday evening were.very in teresting. The following programme wasobserved: Address by the president oraüon, Emile Oabyroa; poem, Miss Flor ence B. Craig: class history, Edwin H Lyon ; prophecy, Miss Elizabeth G. Cornell. Toasts- Frank W. Gregory, toaatnaaster. '84 - Her praise, ye winds, that from four quarters blow,breathe soft and loud, C. E. Boyce. Our Boys - If God give you talents remem ber not to burv them in a napkin; but if He gire you only a napkin don't think so to flounsh it that it will seem full of talents, Míbs C. L. Houghton. Our Girls - A wise woman buildeth her own house, J. M. Zane. '85's Oracle - A busy body speaking things it ought uot, Hugh Brown. Pouies - A horie ! A horse ! My kingdom íor a horse, O. P. Hughart. The Latin Play- Utinam hoe uit bene defunctnm, A. E. Miller. The Ideal Sophomore - A noble creature, diviuely planned, bom to wam, comfort and command, Henry A, Davis. The decennia! reuuion of the class of '72 will be held at Hangsterfer's, alumni day, Wednesday, June 28, at 5;30 p. m. All aie requested to advise the chairman of the committee of arrangement?, Dr. Herdman, of the university, whether or not they will be present and what members of their ftimilieg will accompany them. Those whó cannot attend are lso desired to send to the secretary full personal letters. Ten years makes a good sized chapter in one's Ufe, a chapter which neTer fails to be of interest to nis classmates.
