So great is the influence 1 a sweetmindud woraan on those around her that it is almost boundless. It is to her that friends come in seasons of sickness and sorrovv for help and comfort. One soothing touch of her kindly hands works wonders in the fe verish child; a few words let f all from h er lip- in the ear of a sorrowful sister do much to raise the load of grief that is bowing its victim down to the diist in anguish. We all aro wearied with combatin; with the strn realities of life. The rough schoolboy fl ies in a rago from the taunts of his comnanions to iind solace in his mther's smile; the little one, full of grief with Uu own large trouble, finds a haven of rust on its mother's breast; and so onu might go on with the instances of the inff nence a sweot-minded woraan has in tho social life wilh which she is connectea.
