I eed $1,500 which would put 2,000 copes on the market, (a friend having greed to pinchase the paper for the idition, a little over $300 worth, and take lis pay out of the sales of the book.) laving tried to obtain that amount f rom ome of my f rienda, as I supposed, and ailed, I now and in this manner appeal o my friends in general, in Ann Arbor nd vioinity, who have from $100 to f300 whioh they can spare for one or two years, at most, to jain togetber and mke up hid amount, for which I will pay ten per ent. annual interest. Half the princial to be paid in mie year, the 'ther half n two years if I cunnot pay all in one. 1 ïave a plan thut will make everyone perfectly safe. Oüll on me at B. F. Watts jewelery tore, trom 10 to 12, m., 2 to 4 and 9 p. m., Mar. 26, 27,and 28, and report the amount 'on will help me to in this emergenoy, intil I make up the above named sum. If I fail in this appeal to my business acquaintances, I will have no alternative mt to cali upon the widows and otfihan of tbe city for 10 cent contributions, for ;he book muM come out.
