A Statement . Before election, and at tbe polea on ;he day of eleotioii, I made the statement that M. F. Guiñón, candidato for aluerman of the first ward on the prohiaition ticket, had taken acknowledgement t'o certain deeds, executed on March Í, 1885, without the nuthority conferred jy a notary's commission. I further stated that his (Guinon's) commission expired in 1883, and was not renewed in til March 12, 1885. This statement was Bupported by the official records in :he office of the county clerk, which reaords now appeur to be in error. Guinon's commission does not expire until tfarch, 1886, according to the records at „ansing, Mich. C. W. Wagneb. Notice. There will be a meeting of the Stocklolders of the Anu Arbor water company, leid at the office of Goodhue & Birnie, in ihe oity of Springfleld, Mass., No. 257 Maint-st, for the purpose of electing officers of said company, at nine o'clock a. m , on the 25th day of April, A.
