The president has pardoned an Italian nmi(f Marino, in the penitentiary at Wheeling, W. Va., for counterfeiting in New Orleans. The counterfeit coins in question had been pasaed on a Street i raüroad company, wbich offered to pay 1,UUO for the counterfeiter, and a United States secret service detective took the cas in the hand.
