The national association oí ex-prlsoners of war met in New York on tho lïth int., and selected Chicago as the next place of meeting. Tho folio wing resolutious were adopted: .' mlvtd, That this association aecepts ns a mensure of substantial, though tardy, justice to their comrades the bill reported trom the Invalid Pensions committee of the Nationnl House of Representativos by Mr. Morrill of Kansas. Jtcsoïvcd, That a committeö of five, to be appointed by the pi"esitlent of this convention, be authorized to iuvestigate the present ponsion laws with a view to their araondinent in the intorosts of all disabled ex-Union soldiers and sailors, and that Baid (.ommittee be authorized to confer with tho ponsion committeö of the Grand Army of the ílopublic upon all quostious requiring co-oporation.
