Atithontic dispatches frora Sofia show that the depositfon of Prinee Alexander of Bulgaria, was acconiplished during the nilit. Aceording to these advices one thoroughly Russianized regiment of cavalrv was dotained in the city after Dightflul vvhen tbo other troops retired to tin ir barracks. Thia regiment, perfectly under tlio control of the revolutionists, surroutidcd the palace bout tvvo hours l:ist madnight. Prince Alexander wa in l ed, and the palaco was closed. The revoliltionary leaders, with tho assistanoe of soldiers, forced thcir way into the building, went to the prince's antechamper nnd had him aroused. They bluntly made known to him the purjiose of the Intrusión. He was stuimod, having been taken completely unawaree. "S lnn ho reoovered bis self-control and realized the utter holplessness of his situation. he bitterly reproached his cuptors for their ery. What followed is still rather obscnre. Tho revolutionists' decíate that Alexandor siiifd a formal abdication of the throne. Othera, howsver, assort that he firmly declined to sign an abdication, and that in coiisequeuce of his refusal he was made a prlsoner, belng told he would be kept there until he complted with the demands of the revolntionigCB. Telpgrams from Bucharest stato that a majorïty of the Bulgarlan army, as well as a majorïty of the üulgarian peqple, h:ive alreudy ueclarcd adhereace to Prince AlexMnder, including thé soldiers in the Widdin, Kicopolis and Silistria garrisons. Col. Montdoroff, Cliiof of thoKoumelia Militla. has offered to load tho troops to meet Prince Alexander, escort him back to Sofia and replace him on the Bulgarian throiio.
