The cstimated remainder is 003,000,0.0 bushels; estimatod proportlon held tor home oonsumptlon, 1,877,000,000 bushels, lonvlng ::ss,ooo,ooo for transportaron bcyoii'i connty lines. The proportlon of merchantable eorn is 84 per cent., making the quallty if the erop comparatl vel y hlgh(U', 80 belng tlie average percentage. The amounl ol wheat on baad is 27 per cent of the erop, or about 12,000,000 bushels, agalnst 107,000.000 last year and 169,000,000 i:i March, 1SS5, the largest surplus of the largest erop ever grown. The proportlon held for home consumption is 11)4,000,000 bushels, and the proportlon to be Bhlpped bevond county linos '.'1:;. 000,000 bnshels. The quallty of the erop Is unusually good iu the principal wheat growing sections.
