The Guandal secretary of India has advised the Brltish government of the discovery of an immense amount of treasure, estlmated at over SJ5,000,ooo, whleh had been secreted in the palace of Gwalior by the late maharajah. The treasttrè had becu sunk in the pits under the vaults beneath the zenana, and the secret was entrusted to a few confidcntial servants, The 1 tary was present when the treasure was unearthed.
