Tramp, tramp, tramp! With the morning clocks at ten, 8he skimmed the street wltli footsteps fleet. And hustlcd the tlniid men; Tramp, tramp, tramp! She entered tlie dry goods store And with echoing tread the ilauce ghe led All over the crowded Hoor. She charged the thrvng where the bargalns wei, And everybody n ade way for lier; Wherever she saw a painted sign 8he made for that spot a prompt bee line; Whatever was old or whntever was new She had it down and she looked it through; Whatever it was that caught her eye She'd stop and price, and pretend to buy. But 'twas either too bad r ommon or good, Boshe did, and sho wouldnt and didn't and would. And round the counters and up the stairs, In attlc and basement and every wheres; The 3alesmen fainted and cash boys üropped, But atill she shopped, and slioppe 1, and shopped.
