lliss Enima Butler, of Lawrence street, died Sunday uight after a lingering and jainful illness of several months. The uneral was held Thuisday at St. Thomas' church. Mrs. Maranda M. Sperry, inottier of üeorge and John Sperry,died at hei 'house where she had lived for over forty years, on the Saline road, Sunday, of pneunaonia. The funeral was held Wednesday. George Newall DePuy died at the residence of his mother on Maynard street Monday of jaundice, age 34 years. The funeral was held Wednesday moming. The deceased was a compositor by trade and formerly worked at the Courier office in this city. I .il lian, the 9-year-old dughttr of Geo. II. Pond of the Courier, died yesterday afternoon of consumption . The funeral services will be held at the house this evening at 8 o'clock, and the remains taken to Flint to-morrow morning for interment. She has been a patiënt httle f ufferer duriug several months past, anc while her death wa not unexpected, stil! her loss will be great, both to the family and to her playmates, with all of whom dho was a great favorito. Mr. Pond has tlie heartfelt sympathy of a host of friend in this city, in this his eecond bereave ment in liltle over a year.
