The Demócrata of Michigan will meet in Stato Conventlon in the Detroit Opera House.at Detroit on Thurêday .lulu 19, 1888, at 11 o'clock a, m., to nominale candidat.es for state offleers and for electora of President and Vice-President of the United States, and for the transaction of such other business as raay properly come before the convention. Aecording to the rule adopted by the state convention held at Detroit in 1880, every county is entitled to one delégate for each 500 votes cast for governor at the last&reneral election, and une aüditional delégate for a fraction of not less than 50 votes, lut any county is entitled to at least two delégate. All delegates must be resldents of the counties they represent. Ilie delegates from each Oongressional district will meet in caucusat 10 o'clock a. m., on the ilay of the convention. I. M.
