The wagon jack of which I scnd a dcscrip tion and illustration is light, strong, easilj handled, firto, and does not shove in Uiting It should be mnde of good, strong, hare wood - such as white oak, sawed and plaaed The base is 4 inches 'hick, 4 Inches wideanj '■ 14 inches long. The upright is 3% inchei square and 2 feet high above the base, int which it is tenoned. The lever is 5K feel long, and is made o( Ja'-inch stuff 8 iachei wide at the short end and l1 inches it tht long end. It is held in place in the slot o! the upright by a loóse bolt. There Is a se riet oí holes to accommodate the jack t ailes of different height. The ratcbst il two feet long, bolted at the top, atil shaped . to fall securely lnto the notehes of t'.e Ie ver. - A.
