Washington, Muy 19. - The house commiltee on rulos today decide:! to bring in a special order for the consideratíon of the McCall iK.migraíio:i bilí and atnendments today and tomorrow. The McCall bilí provides an educational test and is substantially simi lar to the Lodge bilí. The Stoue btll, which provides íor consular r.spection, wil! be offered as a substitiite. The rulos oommittee aiso decided to give the committee on labor some time thia vtcok for bilis reported f rom that committee. The house committee on ways and means today decided to report favorably the bilí to permit custom officials to deliver packages not exceediug $500 in valué to express companies and other inland carriers under bond aftor sppraisal on the wliarfs. Jewelry and precious stones are excepted. It also authorized Mr. Evans, of Kentucky, to cali ;;p in the house under suspension of the rules the bilí to permit the bottling of spirits under hoed in dlstilleriea. i re family.
