New York, June 22. - After 14 years of faithful work as an enlisted man in the United States army, Sergt. John E. Hogan of Battery C, First arĂ¼llery, has come into a fortu-ie of $200,000, and now th'inks of leavi-ng the service Sergt. Hogan is Ă­ationed at Fort wadsworth. He has just learned that land in Texas to the value of about $400,000 is waiting to be divided between him and a sister. Years ago hls father had jome land oear Dallas which had heen squatted upon, and the title to which was in Iltlgatlon. His fathei died, and Sergt. Hogan had not heard from his family in years. It seems that the tltle to the land, afior suits leadlng up to the supreme oourt, had been decided in favor rt the Hogans.
