New York June 22. - The anthracite carrying and producing railroads are quietly preparing to make an advance of 25 cents a ton in coal prices July 1. It was expecteU to take place June 1, but there seems to have been foar ol lpgislation anti unilue attention was given to the matter. The advance will make thf highest circular price since 1894, and the highest actual price since 1893, because tho figures named by the sales agents in 1894 were roally higher than the actual selling price.
