Work Stopped By Venezuelans

Georgetown, Brltlsh Gulana, June 22.- A Brltish official with 100 laborera was opening a road frora Barima to the Cuyunl river, wlthin the Schombuigk line, when they were stopped by armed Venezuelana. Orders have been sent irom Georgetown to the British oülclals not to offer violent resistance to the Veuezuelans, but to withdraw under protest. No excitement has been caused in the country by the incident.
