A song with the tltle, "There's a Sigh in the Heart," was eent by a young man to nis sweetheart, but the paper feil into the hands of the glrl's father, a very unsentlmental physlclan, who exclalmed: "What wretched, unsclentiflc rubblsh la thls? Who ever heard of such a case?" He wrote on the outslde: "Mistaken diagnosis; no slgh in the heart possible. Sighs relace alrnost entlrely to the lungs and diaphragm." - Larks.
