The scare which Purdue gave Michigan last yeár was fresh in memory when the team started for Lafayette, End., last Friday, to play Puïdue on her own grounds. Today it is au indistinct rememberance, while 16 to 0 makesglad the hearts of Michiganders. On their own grounds last Saturday Michigan beat them by the above score, which is equal to half as many more points against them on any other grounds. Every man on the Michigan team played the entire game through, and carne ovit at the end in good shape. Ferbert, Bènnett and Villa played a greai i fact there was not a man on the team who did not deserve special mentionfor his work. The line was impregriable to all of Purdue's assaults, while Ferbert, Caley and Ilogg through the holes which Mic'.ii gan's line made in Purdue, for gain af ter gain. Hoggat full-back did soma good punting, and is improving daily in Uut position. It was Michigan's first hard game of the season, and the resulta are very encouraging to the adherents of the yellow and blue.
