And when tlu-y smile to gladden Or sometimos frown to guide, We fondly vrista those oíd fnenda Were always by our side. There are no friends like oíd friendi To help us with the load That all must bear who journey O'er life'g unever. road And when unconouered sorrows The weary bours invest, The kindly words of old frienda Are al -uva found the best.
