Martin Clark, the truant officer for the Ann Arbor schools, wishes us to inform the public that the new school law of 1895 requires all children from the age of 7 to 16 years to attend school. Some parents supposing that the old repealed law is yet in force, which made the school age 7 to 15 years, take their children from school at the age of 15. The law is very striet and tvery parent or guardiƔn who refuses to send children to school during school age is Hable to be summoned to appear before a justice of the peace and on eonviction of not complying with the law can be fined from five to flfty dollars, or be sent to jail.
