Houghton, Mich., Nov. 25.- The Union Bridge company's employés completed their contract Monday in erecting tha Red Jacket shaft rock house for the Calumet and Hecla Mining company. This is the largest structural steel mining shaft house in the world, over 2,250 pounds of steel being erected on a space oL 41x80 feet. Over 45,000 rivets were used. It was built in fifty days.
