It may havo been of fiinisy wear; I do not know, I do not rare, Por all iy thoughts that wandered wide Were centered on the girl inside. Oh, she was sweet from head to feet, The prettiost girl upon tha strcetl Depending not on ontward dress To ompbasize her loveliness. Thougli many another maiden owes Her chief nttraction to her clothes, This one, though well supplied with pelf, Would have no rival to herself. ïf yon shocld meet this maid by chance, You'd give her more than passing flanee.
