Good Times Coming

Speaking the other day with a gentleman who travels quite extensively, we "were surprised to hear the certainty with which he affirmed that good times are really coming. In commenting on the fact they had not yet noticeably improved lie used an illustration somethinglike thisasking uswhether if a hen laid an egg we should expect her to be walking around the next day with a whole llock of chickens. The lirst step has been taken, and in due course of time he was certain that times must and would improve. We should not expect immediate full pledged prosperity, but in due time it will come. In the meantime let us do what we can to help along, by looking on the bright side of things, and not talking poverty all the time. Xo good comes of alwiiys bowling hard times. Things never look so clear through blue spectacles, and the man who insists on wearing them all the time is sure to find things off color.
