Four Interesting Lectures

Eeginning with last Sunday evening a series of four lectures willbe given in St. Luke's church by the following persons: Jan. 31, Prin. 11. G. Boone; Feb. 7, Prof. Daniel Putnam; Feb. 14 Prof. A. Lodeman; Feb. 21, Prof. David Eugene Smith. ïiie iirst of the series was given by Dr. Boone last Sunday evening, on the subject, " The Teacher and the Preacher," and was a most able and scholarly addres. The subject of the lecture next Sunday evening will be " What Authority Has the Church in the State V" The public is cordially invited to attnd these lectures.
