Lanstng, MIch., Jan. 29.- Anothcr income tax measure providing for a tax of 1 per cent. upon all ineomes of $750 or over bobbed up in the house Wednesday, as did also a bilí to tax inheritances. and a measure to place a specific tax on the output of Michigan mines. One lesislator has given notice of a resolution to submit a eonstitutional amendment providing for the initiatie and referendum, and another Wlll introduce a bilí providing that nine jurors may render a verdict in civil cases. The senate continúes to meet and adjourn each day, but three senators, being present. Lansing, Mich., Jan. 30.- Bills were introduced in the house for the repeal of the law provlding for the colleeion cf statisties of cereal producís; providing for a verdict in civil cases for damages, when nine of a jury of tweive shal! agree upon the amount; for the taxation of palace, drawing room, i ing and dining car companies by prorating the capital employed in Michigan with that of the whole employed in North America as a basis; providing for the 'ncorporation of Methodist Protestant Episcopal churches; providing for the immediate printing of immediate effect Iaws; joint resolution amendng the constitution to provide for boards of county auditors. I.ansing, Mich., Feb. 1.- The lower house of the Michigan legislature, which adjourned Friday afternoon until Monday night, has spent the week in a very dilatory manner. The absence of the senators on the junHet to the upper península did not arm the house members with energy, and but little work was done. Lanfing, Mich., Feb. 3.- Bills have been introdueed in the house - increasing the bounty for the destruction of wolves; prohibiting the issue of scrip to employés Liy individuals and corporations; to provide for the employment of . convicts in road building in any county in the state; permitting the sending of bodies in the Saginaw valley to the Saffinaw Medical college for dissection. Chamberlain introduced a joint resolution looking to an amenbment to the state conetitutlon to provide for annual sessions of the legislature not to exceed seventy five days; also a joint resolution fixing the compensation of members at $750.
