New York, Feb. 3.- Ben Brush, wlio for the last two years has been the crack of M. F. Dwyer's racing stable, and whom the handicapper thought so well of that he placed him thlrd in the Brooklyn handicap list at 123 pounds and sixth in the Suburban list at the same weight, is said to have thrown a large' sized splint. If the splint is a3 bad as represented Ben Brush will hardly be able to start in the Brooklyn handicap, and if he cannot be made ready for this event, he certainly will be out of the sweepstake race to be run a week later.
