Washington, April 13.- The president last night announced the following appointments of commissioners for the promotion of an international agreement for bimetallism: Senator Edward O. Wolcott, Hon. Charles J. Payne, ex"Vice-President Adlai Stevenson. Has to Sht Out Callers. Washington, April 13.- When he returnéd to the White House yesterday afternoon the president announced that he could see no callers in connectin with private affairs during the remainder of the day. That was the ftrst application of a new rule which the president decided upon while on nis trip.
