Mrs. Will Guy is seriously ill. Mrs. T. A. Miller came home froin Cleveland Saturday. O. TI. Brown was an Ann Arbor vis itor on Tuesday last. Grace Debenham had friends visiting her Monday and Tuesday. .Mrs. Cliapman of Detroit is spending a few weeks here for her healtb. The Presbyterian ladies sewing circle met with Mrs. V. E. Ward, Tuesday . Mrs. Webb Blackmër is making a short visit with friends and re.atives in Toledo. iMinnieMead and Dr. Hafford'S two chikiren are going to Albion to spend a part of the summer. Several of the Milan young people attended the ice cream social at Kaleighville Tuesdav night. Mr. Hoecraddle of Dundee is luw attending his brother. Mike Iloecraddle, during bis severe illfiess. Mis McLaughlin went to Petersburg last Priday to spend the following week wilh friends in that place. Mrs. W: E. Ward and daugbter Estella spent Saturday and Sunday with the foruier's sister, Mrs. C. K. (Jhrittendenden, at Rawsonville. Decoration day, Lee Dentón, Horace Lewis, Kav J ach son, mounted their wheels ?nd made a trip to Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, Saline, Mooreville, and then home. The Ladies' Aid Society of the Presbyterian church, will meet with Mrs. Fred G. ï. Wilson. next Tuesday afternoon. The missionary society will met-t at 2 o'clock. Slipper will be served f rom 5 o'clock to 7. All are cordially invited to attend. Judge Newkirk of Ann Arbor delivered a very flne address to the Milan people on "Decoration Day in (ay's opera house, after which the G. A. 1!. marched up to the mound where the usual program was carritd out of decorating the grave, üring a salute, etc. The highwayman, who held up Bert Mead between Saline and MooreyiUe, was arrested by Deputy sheriff wilcox Saturday night at the depot. II e was tried by Justice Doyle, Tuesdny, and discbarged, to go on'liis way rejoicing, as nothiog suilicient could be brought against him, so that he could be convicted. The I5ac3alaureate address will be given by Rev. IJouck next Sunday night. The senior class day exercises will be held ïiext week Thursday, June lOíh. Coiiimeneement, Friday night. the llth, when Mr. H. ]5. Pattengill, of Lansing, will give the address. iMusic will be furnished Tnursday night by the Adrián Quartette and the Ann Arbor Mandolín Club, and Friday night I by the Ypsilanti ürchestra.
