The Woodmen organized their Lodge at Dentons last week with about 30 members. Charles Foster is making extensive improvements on his farm in the way of fencing. Charles Alban, who bas been sick for the past two weeks, is so as to be at his work again. Farmers in this locality are very busy getting in their corn and preparing their ground for beans. Mrs. Nathan Burdine and daughter Myrtie, of SaMne, were the guests of Mrs. Ilerbert K. Burrell, Tuesday. Wirt Colby bas the new wall under his house all completed and expects the carpenters to commeiice on the frame work this week. John Chambers, an aged and respected citizen, of Dentón, died May 22. Funeral services were held at Denton M. E. church, Kev. Wood ofliciating. Mrs. Geo. W. Burrell and children, Etlith and Ilerald, who has been spending the last two weeks with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Allen, of Willis, returned home Sunday.
