Xext Sunday will be flower Sunday, and flowers will be given to inmates of the hospitals. As in the neighborhood of 80 small bouquets are required, in order that none may be slighted, all vvho have flowers to spare, are earnest ly requested to take them, tied in small bouquets to the hospital by 2:30 p. m. Sunday, or leave them at the house of Mrs. Chas. Worden, cor. Williams and Thompson. Nothing cheers the afflicted, or brightens up the room more than a bunch of bright flowers. A full and interesting report of the State Convention at Benton Harbor was given bv both delegates. Among the many interesting portions of the program was the Memorial .ervice held in honor of the sixty-six workers who have taken up their vvork on the other side. A very pretty tribute was paid Mrs. Mary T. Lathrop. in being referred to as "the Daniel Webster of the W. C. T. U." There are 423 Unions in the State- 21 new ones formert the past year. A niembr of the Harvey. 111. Union was present at our last meeting, giving us a very interesting account of how the Temperanee cause was enforced in the prohibition town, a suburb of Chicago.
