The strength developed by the Democratie candidate in Chicago shows beyorid all question that tbousands of Deinocrats who voted for the Republicaus last fall on the rnoney question have iiow discovered their mistake aud have taken the first opportuuity to turn to their party and its principies. They were misled in the lastcampaign. They were deluded by the false arguments dinned in their ears by the bolting leaders and by the false hopes of prosperity held out to them by the Republican leaders. But they now see their mistake and have returned to their party. As it is in Chicago, so it is in all parts of the country. Many sincere and honest Dernoerats who believed thoroughly in the principies of their party were misled by the false arguments of the bolters aud the false promises of the Republicaus. They allowed themselves to be deoeived by men iu whom they had confidence, but they now see the error intowhich they were led, aud they are ready to return to their party, content to accept the Chicago platform in all ita parta.
