Ottawa, Ont, Aug. 19. - The minister oí railways, A. G. Blair, being asked what he thought of the alleged attempt to construe section 22 of the Dingley bil] so as to make it opérate severely against Canadian railways, replied that he did not think it was the intention of congress to enlarge the scope of the section from that of the Wilson blll. He advised the Canadian press to keep cool about the matter.
