A Short Meeting
The board of public works held a short meeting Wednes&ay at which the most important tliing done was to start the ball rolling in the matter of fixing up the pavenient on Main street. Whcu President Smith, called the meeting to order Mr. Keech mov;l tbat trhe elork adrertise for bids fov building sidewalks, whieh have mot been built by the owners and the mot ion went Inroufih. It was decided also to approprlate ?75 for grading Wilmout strjet. It wm.be recommended to the eouneil at the next meeting that they appropriate $45 for a brick cross walk aeross Wilmont street on the north side of Wasbtenaw. Theu it was moved that the board instruct the street com-missioner r.o elean the mud out of the holes n Main street and flll the same with gravel. The numbering affair was referrad to a committee consisting of PrĂsMonl Smith, Chairnian Moore of the street. committee, and the city engineer. After several other matters of minor importance were attended to the board adjourucd.
