Secretary of State ölardner has compiled some interesring statistics on the vheat erop in Michigan this year. The icllowing is a partion of the report: ■Por this report eorrespondeius havo secured from threshers the resulta of :!.7.")T julis, aggregating more than 05,000 acres of wheat threshed in the state, the yield trom which was 1,091,483 bushels, an average of 16.73 bushels per acre. In the southera counties moi-e than 52,000 acres threshed averaged 17.34 bushels per acre. In the central counties the average s 14.02 bushels, and in the ï'.oithern counties, 15.31 bushels. The area In wheat In the state last May as compiled from the returns of supervisors was 1,513,919 acres. Tuiis the probable acreage ih.it was harvestea this year.
