Kither Harvey did not liave the nerve to pull tlw trigger or else it was a simple bluff on his part in tiie first place. At any ra te there was a waver when he saw Mr. liappleyee's gun pointed at hini and Hipj) jumped at the pTis onr. Harvey was soon disarmed and tol ded in the loekup. Th? revolver was loa ded and the offlcers were certainly in a dangerous predicament. Harvey plead gililty to assault and was sentenced to 00 days in jail. W'h ie "doing this bit" Mr. Rappleyee swore out a warrant for his arresl 1'or resisting an olflcer and just as he was about to be released from jail this mofáing he was re-arrested on the latter charge aud brought to this cüy. The eonaplaint was read to him and he waived examina! ion. .Justice ('hii.ls put him under bonOs for $5(0 to appoar at the March term and not 'being able to furnish it, he was again taken to the Ann A'rbor jail to await his trial.
