Wilkesbarre, Pa., Feb. 15.- The foür teenth day of the trial of Sheriff Martii and his deputies, charged with the kill ing of the strikers at Lattimer, openet today with John Pustion on the stand He testifled: "I was with the strikers when th shooting occurred at Lattimer. Whei we approached the sheriff he walkeó to the middle of the road and told u. to stop. Some few of the men wen forward and I then heard two volleyi from the deputies. "As I started to run I was shot ir the right leg. I saw six or seven of thi deputies leave the line and snoot as they walked away." Andrew Stuit testified: "I carried the flag in the maroh o) the strikers. We were stopped at Wes Hazieton by the sheriff, who had a revolver in his hand. A similar scen occurred at Lattimer, where the sherifl seized one of our men and we pullec Vie man away from him. I saw the Sheriff pull the trigger of his revolvei three or four times."
