About forty studeiits have banded themselves together for moral and religious iiiquiry. Our reason fortbis, we thiuk, is good. We have learuod by sore experience Ihat it is inappropriatc for us to express our burning convictions in any of tho existing societies for young people. Wo long to be free to learn. "The love of freedom is iunate." In our ncw society we intund to freely and fuarlessly searoh for trutb. We require no test of religious belief for membership. The blueist Calvinist or the rankest Atheïst can come and Ve free. I believe that I speak tho s;ntinmnt of every mernber of our society when I gay, "We have malica toward none, but charity for all." Past experiencs bas Uught us that there aru numbers of good people in Aun Arbor who are too eharitable to condemn their fellow creatures without a hearing. Oume oitizens, couae studüiits. Temporarily wo are meeting in the parlors of tha Uuitarian ohurch. We will hold our next meeting on next Sunday at three o'ulock P. M. Come and see if by sign or word we bespeak evil intentions.
