Wednesday, March 17. Trial of ITeury Burgraff, charged with rape upon his daoghter, resulted in acquittal. Thursday, March 18. Trial of George Hack. charged with laroeny of aliorse was found guilty and remanded tojail for sentence. Clias. Downer charged with larceny of nine sheep entered in a bond of $1000 to appear at next term of Court. Darwin Downer, surety. Martin Eckerish Jr., charged with hlgbway robbery. Jury drawn and sworn, when U wasaseertainedthatthe names of witnesses for prosecution had not been indorsed upon the informal ion as required by law. Prosecution withdrew the snit the above objection sustaincd by court, and Eckerish, Jr., and his surety, Eckerish, Sr., were dischared from prisoner's bond. Defendant was thereupon discharged.
