The city fnthersmeton Alonday evening, with iull board present, and proed to elect city offlcers f or the ensuing year. John G. Johnson receiving all the votes for marshal was declarad elect cd. Kinne 3 An informal ballot for city treasurer showed this: O. F. Webster 8 W. A. Clark 8 A formal ballot gave Webster 11 Clark 3 An informal ballot for tliree members of board of bealth resulted: rr. Breakey H Dr. George 1(í l)r. Alien 9 3 )r. O'Toole 6 Dr. O'Neii 1 Mr. E. B. Gidley 5 the three former receiving a majority were declared electod. Aldermen Ilutzel and Kewh and Eecovder Douglas were constitued a committee to settle v'ith the ex-treasurer. The mayor annoimced the standing fommittecs as foilows: Finance- Aldermen Kecch, Martin and Kellogg. General Street - Aldermen Besimer. Ferdoo, ltoss, Fleming, Mathewson, and Martin. tfidewalks- Aklermen Kitridge, Kellogg, and McOmber. General Fund- Aldermen Hutzel, Fftrdon, and Fleming. Pólice Commissioners - Aldermen Fleming, Kittridge, and Hutzel. License - Mayor Kapp, Kecordrr Douglas, and Aldermen Ferdon and Thompson. Fire Department- Aldermen Martin, Keech, and Kellogg. Bonda of saloon keepers were fixed at same amount as last year.
