A. is largely inereasing over tliat done a few months ago. Large amounts are transferred to and from the Centiíil almost daily. - Xpw time carda for the T. & A. A. were distributed along the Une Friday, to take effect Monday. Saturdaymorr.ing the new carda were oxdered to be gathered in, the old ones being considered good enough. - IVin. Bobinson of Detroit-, ticket agent of the Great Western, was in th city Monday, dietributing circulara and offering redtretion in ratee to all students going to Suspensio i Bridge, falo, and all other eastern points for their summer vacation. -The new train west on the Central will prove a great convenience to persons in this section desiring to visit Lansing and other poiuts on the .Saginaw división. It makes a close connection at Jackson with the morning (rain north thus avoiding the formeï long and tiresome delay thero of from four to elght hours. - Simday another nrw time table went into operationon the Central road. This time a new train vest, called local passenger, being added, The new train leaves Detroit at 4:00 A. M., Ypsilanti 5:06, Ann Arbor r:i,s, Delhi 5:Z7, Dextei 6:88, Chelsea 5:50, Grass Lake (:17, Jackson 7:00, Kalainazoo 9:80 and arriving at Chicago at 8:00 i M. The times of the othor trains are nnchanged. - The officials of the Central road, proposing to encourage all to go somewliere and have a good time on the coming national anniversary, have issued posters announcing the sale of cntoiiruinn fiokc'ts to and from all points on Llie main line nntl orancnes ai onn fare for the round trip. Tickets will be sold for all trains on .lulv 8, 4 and 5, good to return on any train up to and inclnding July 6. - After several month-; hard labor in Detroit the necessary bonus has been subscribed to secure tb; conltructión of the Detroit and Butlfir road. The contract for building tlu; road has beea let to J. S. and D. F. Cament, and to be completed by Dec. 15. Theoontractoïs have had ;i large experience in railroad building, among whicta werc tlie [Jnion Pacific and Canada Bouthém. Both of the contractora are well known n this vicinity havingbeen formerresidents hen. The, new road will pïoba)y cross the T. & A. A. road at or near Milan.
