Eaton Mills, Oct. 11. - Mr.Perrin Brown ia visiting f riends in New York State. - S. P. Ballard lost a valuable cow lately, choked by an apple. -Mr. Secor of New Boston has lately taken up his abode at Eaton Mills. -"Mr. W. L. Potter has arrived home fïorn visiting frlendB in N. Y. State. - OUf town cleik Mr. Wm. Ward has recöVefed front his severe illness and is able to be out again. - Robbie Wilsoh while at wörk Saturday with his team geit his nhger torn quite badly. Also Mr. S. f. Báüard had a finger hurt pretty Jaadly lately. -Mr. J. H. Sherman is "talking" of building a new brick store. We hope ït will get farther than talk; a fine brick store willbe quite an ornament to Eaton - Üncle John King of Ypsilanti Was buried a week ago last Sunday. His face has been a familiar one for raany years at the grocery store of C. King, and he will be greatly missed. - Saturday afternoon the people of Eaton Mills met at the school house and had a Sunday school picnic, the chief feature of the occasion being the presenting of a Chair tö Mr. John Roberts the superintendent. Mr, Roberts has held the position for rrtarijf years and the school presented hira thé chair as a mark of gratitude and respect.
