Election to Be Held on Jan. 20

The school board at its last special meeting decided to call a special election for Monday, Jan. 20, for the taxpayers to decide to issue bonds in the sum of $25,000 for the purpose of building a new Walter S. Perry school, the present one needing large repairs and being inadequate in room. Fine plans for a building estimated to cost upwards of $35,000 have been submitted to the board. The matter has been very carefully considered and every effort made to keep the cost as low as is compatible with convenience and the credit of the city.
