S.S. BLOOM IS UNDER ARREST
A complaint and warrant were issued this morning for the arrest of S. S. Bloom, charged with the embezzlement of $65, the complainant being Victor Fink, the clothier.
It is alleged that Bloom went to Flint and declared that, being about to give up his business in Ann Arbor, he had a large stock, a portion of which he was anxious to dispose of to Fink. Fink agreed to take some. It is further alleged that Bloom then went to Burnham, Stoepel & Co., and, stating that he was a nephew of Fink, secured goods to the amount of $156. These he turned over to Fink himself, and, it is said, received in return a check for $65. This was cashed at the German savings bank.- Detroit News.
