EMANUEL SPRING ELECTED PRESIDENT

The annual election of Ann Arbor Unterstuetzungs Verein held Monday evening was very harmonious, nearly all the office being elected by acclamation. The society has been gaining in the past six months, and its assets are now $1,968.51. During the same time it paid out $836.45. The society has 145 members. The officers elected were:

President- Emanuel Spring.

Vice-President- George Visel.

Second Vice-President- John Mayer, jr.

Recording Secretary- Julius Lohrke.

Corresponding Secretary- Christian Martin.

Cashier -Christian Wiegand.

Treasurer- Eugene Oesterlin.

Trustees John Walz, August Hinz, Franz Rotenbuecher, Enoch Dieterle, Titus F. Hutzel, William Feldhauesser and Albert Glatzel.

Steward- August Hinz.

Color-Bearer- Carl Jaenke.

The retiring president thanked the officers and society for their confidence and help during the past two years. A spread was enjoyed by all present.
