A. Steger has been appointed station agent for the D., Y., A. A. & J. Ry.

Chelsea, Mich., Jan. 29 - The Chelsea High School Athletic association will give an entertainment February 28, consisting of two comedies and a musical program. 

Friday evening next there will be an organ recital at the M.E. church given under the auspices of the Epworth League. Prof. Renwich and Earl Killeen, of the University School of Music will be the entertainers.

A. Steger has been appointed to the position of station agent at this place for the D., Y. A. A. & J.

The Ladies' Aid society of the Baptist church will give one of their famous teas at the church on February 4.

The senior class of the High School will give an entertainment at the opera house February 14. Peet Brothers are the attraction.

There will be a calendar tea at the M.E. church Friday evening of this week.

John Mayer is reported to be quite ill at his home in this village.

Chelsea tent, K. O. T. M., will hold an adjourned review this week Friday evening, at which time they expect to exercise the lodge goat.
